By receivng a formal diagnosis* for dyslexia, you will then be able to do the following:
- Apply for Disabled Students' Allowance (DSA).
- Your University can apply for Exam Access Arrangements.
- Apply to the Access to Work Program.
*It is recommended, prior to booking your formal Dyslexia Diagnostic Assessement, that you complete a screening test

Prior to your dyslexia assessment you will receive a Booking Pack which will include the following:
- Booking Form including Terms & Conditions.
- Background information questionnaire.
- Full information on what is required during the assessment.
- Payment details.
The full price for an online assessment is £495 (If you are a student, your University may provide some funding).

You will need the following for your dyslexia assessment (Further details will be found in your booking pack)
- A large Computer or Laptop.
- A quiet, private and comfortable work space.
- Headphones & microphone .
- Webcam.
- Reliable internet connection
- Notepad & pens.

- The dyslexia assessment will take approx. 3-4 hours (break will be given.)
- The assessment will focus on the following main areas:
- Cognitive Processing Skills (including working memory and processing speed.)
- Verbal & Non-Verbal Reasoning.
- Reading, writing and spelling skills.

- You will receive a copy of your detailed Diagnostic Report containing recommendations within 2 weeks after your assessment.
- You will receive post-assessment support to allow you to discuss the recommendations and outcomes of your assessment.

- Our Assessors are qualified specialists who hold an Assessment Practicing Certificate (APC) approved by the SpLD Assessment Standards Committee (SASC).
- Our Assessors hold a current Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
